Mike and I have had such fun creating Dylan's nursery. I decided I wanted a more unisex theme so we could hopefully use it for other babies to come. It's a circus animal and old toy theme. Mike made a custom toy chest/window seat that looks like an old truck that had been traveling around with the circus. He also, made a bookcase to match the room.
Also, we put in the laminate wood floors, bead board, double chair moldings, and painted stripes on the walls and clouds on the ceiling. I painted the stencil around the room and added animal plaques that I had painted. Then, I painted the circus art above the crib and glued pom poms to frame it. A frame just didn't seem playful enough for the room and besides I felt the room needed more color...hehe.
I also, made the valance for the window and painted the glow-in-the dark star and moon roman shade for when Dlyan needs it to be extra dark for sleeping. 
Now we just need Dylan to come and enjoy his new room!
